Once a year, the ladies at Shofar East London get together for a day of pressing into the more of God. With the theme of “Called to Surrender”, we knew that this event would force us to go deep.
Stories are a great way to connect the truth of God with practical application, so each year we host a “couch session”. During this session, we ask 3-4 ladies from the congregation to share their stories. Regular, every day people with a beautiful history with God. Through their stories we are all invited to trust the Lord for the same breakthroughs, courage and miracles that they received.
On June 24, 2023, I had the great pleasure of facilitating the conversation, connecting the stories and sharing the heart behind surrender. What a privilege and a pleasure to share the couch with these amazing women.
